WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!

Things continue to gain speed for me. I just completed a page of Filthy Habit that was all establishing shots and cars and neon signs... it took me three days to ink, but I'm glad to be done with it. If I can ink a page every two days I should have this book wrapped up around the beginning of next month... which would be really cool. I'm looking forward to having another finished project to add to the pile. I'd like to get some of these sequentials off my back so I can do some straight up illustrations. I've been getting a lot of great inspiration and I'd like to put some to paper. But the sequentials are on a bit of a time table and really need to take precedence in order for them to ever see the light of day.

There just are not enough hours... why do I have to sleep?!

ON THE WEB

I love Stan Lee but I think he may have finally lost touch with what the comic buying populous wants these days... or maybe he just doesn't realize Paris Hilton was soooo 10 minutes ago.

Triumph the insult comic dog rips Comic-con attedees a new one... including Dallas' own webcomic guru Scott Kurtz.

MST3K's Joel Hodgson posts a prototype video of a new way to recycle old films for your veiwing pleasure. In the video there's a few minutes of a the opening of a movie then the same footage is run throgh Hodgson's "Jollyfilter". It's good stuff.

Alan Moore gives advice to young/new artists.

David Byrne posts a free track from his upcoming album with Brain Eno.
